What is a MicroLaserPeel™?
A MicroLaserPeel™ reverses the outward signs of aging using new technology. It treats wrinkles, scars, keratoses and pigmentation problems with minimal downtime.
How does a MicroLaserPeel™ work?
The laser precisely removes the epidermal layers to a depth specific to the problem being treated.
What are the benefits of the MicroLaserPeel™?
A MicroLaserPeel™ provides an overall youthful appearance. It improves skin texture, elasticity and the appearance of scars, and the process is relatively painless. MicroLaserPeeltms can be used on the hands, neck and chest. The healing process is faster than other procedures. Skin will look dramatically younger, smoother and more vibrant.
Who are candidates for a MicroLaserPeel™?
Anyone wishing to reverse the signs of aging or prolong the effects of a previous treatment is a good candidate for a MicroLaserPeel™. Those with scars and uneven pigmentation can also benefit. The MicroLaserPeel™ is safe for all skin types.
Are there any possible side effects?
The treated area will be red following treatment. The skin will peel and redness will fade within three or four days.
Will there be any downtime?
Patients can immediately return to normal activity after the procedure but will have visible peeling for a couple of days.
How soon will results appear?
You can expect to see full results within three or four days.
How does the treatment feel?
The MicroLaserPeel™ usually does not cause discomfort because of the anesthetic ointment; however, a sensation similar to a sunburn is expected following treatment.
What are the alternative treatments?
Alternatives to the MicroLaserPeel™ include dermabrasion and other laser treatments like Erbium.
Is additional treatment necessary?
Yes. MicroLaserPeeltms do not have permanent results. Most patients have additional treatments every six months to a year. MicroLaserPeeltms can be done every three or four months if needed.
